  • How can I make a payment to foodtruckBooking.com?+

    Payments are always made online via credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay. This applies to the moment when you first register for a subscription during the registration process. Renewals are paid via direct debit. You give permission for this when you take out a subscription.

  • What happens when the subscription period ends?+

    You will receive a reminder about this several weeks before your subscription period ends. If you do nothing, your subscription will be renewed automatically. If you want to terminate your subscription, then you should send an e-mail to info@foodtruckbooking.com at least 1 month before the end of your subscription.

  • I have registered for a Basic account at FoodtruckBooking and want to upgrade to a Pro account. How does this work?+

    Upgrading is easy. Log in to your account. In the main menu, at the top of the screen, go to Subscription. Here you will see your food trucks. If you have a Basic subscription, you will see the name of your food truck AND an Upgrade button under Subscription overview. If you select this option, then you can implement the upgrade immediately yourself. Following the payment, you will see all the extra functions that form part of a Pro account.

  • Why has money been deducted from my account by FoodtruckBooking?+

    The most likely reason is that your subscription period has expired and your subscription has been renewed. This is the only reason for which FoodtruckBooking is able to deduct money from your account by direct debit.

  • I have lost my invoice. Can I receive a new copy for my administration?+

    All your invoices are saved in your account and you can download them there. Log in to your account. In the main menu, at the top of the screen, go to Subscription. Go to the section Invoices. You can download your specified invoice again here.

  • What does it cost to Upgrade my account from Basic to Pro?+

    If you want to upgrade from Basic to Pro, the difference that you need to pay will be calculated automatically. For example, if you have had a Basic account with FoodtruckBooking for 6 months, then the costs of an upgrade are: Difference between Basic and Pro divided by the remaining subscription period.

  • I cannot find my profile page in the results of search engines. How is this possible?+

    This could be due to two reasons. Firstly, the search terms that you use are important. The findability of your profile page has been optimized based on the main category that you have selected, your place and the name of the food truck. A combination of these search terms should display your profile page in the search results. The position in the search results depends on the competition for the search terms used.
    In addition, search engines need time to index new internet pages. A profile page will usually be findable via the search engines after a few days, but that does not mean that the indexing process is complete. It can often take a few weeks before it is clear which position in the search results your profile page has achieved. It is also important to consider which search terms are being used.

  • There is an error on my profile page. What should I do now?+

    You can change almost anything on your profile page yourself. First check whether you can change this yourself when you log in to your profile. You can change all the text and photos yourself. Has something gone wrong on your profile page and are you unable to explain what has caused this? We will gladly take a look. Complete the contact form on this website and describe clearly what the problem is. You will receive a reply as soon as possible.

  • What does it cost to Upgrade my account from Basic to Pro?+

  • How can I use the Live Locator function?+

    You can place your food truck on the live locator in 3 easy steps:

    • Log in to your profile;
    • Look under LIVE LOCATION in the main menu;
    • Simply enter your location with the date and opening time.

    You will automatically be included in the Live Foodtruck Locator as soon as you are open! Please ensure that you include a good and clear menu with the prices of your dishes and your cell phone number. This will make it even easier for your customers to place an order.

  • Where can I log in?+

    You can log in via the log-in page.

  • I have forgotten my password. What now?+

    You can easily request a new password via this page. You will immediately receive an e-mail that will allow you to set a new password.

  • I am unable to add photos. Am i doing something wrong?+

    Firstly, it is worth mentioning that you can only upload .JPG and .PNG files via the admin environment of FoodtruckBooking.com, under Profile and Photos. Please check that your photo has the correct file extension. Is the extension correct and are you still unable to upload photos? Then you have probably exceeded the maximum file size. Photos with a file size of 3 MB or more are not permitted by the system. Photos with a file size of 3 MB or less are almost always sufficient for internet-based purposes. Do you have more questions about uploading photos? Pose your question via the contact form and you will receive a reply as soon as possible.

  • I have 2 or more food trucks, how can I add these?+

    Adding an extra food truck is simple. Log in to your account. In the main menu, at the top of the screen, go to Account. Go to the section add food truck. Select Add profile and complete the steps. You have now added an extra food truck.

  • I am receiving all the General Requests in my e-mail. How can I switch off this function?+

    Please log in to your account to switch off e-mail for General Requests. In the main menu, at the top of the screen, go to Account. Go to the Notifications section. You can decide whether you want to switch the e-mails Newsletter and General Requests ON or OFF.

  • I only want to receive e-mail about assignments of - for example - 250 visitors or more. Where can I change this setting?+

    Please log in to your account and go to the heading Account and then Notifications to set the number of visitors for which you want to receive assignments.

  • How does the Live Location / Eat Now section work? Order here?+

    Increasing numbers of food trucks have a few set locations from which they sell their delicious dishes. Using the function Live Location / Eat Now? Order here, your hungry customers can easily find you and order directly by telephone.
    If you also want to be included on the map of Eat Now? Order here, please log in to your account and go to the section Live Location. You can add your (live) point of sale by adding the address of the site. Please also state during which hours you will be operating and list your telephone number. This makes it easy for new customers to find you and place an order directly by telephone.

  • How can I use the Live Locator function?+

    You can place your food truck on the live locator in 3 easy steps:

    • Log in to your profile;
    • Look under LIVE LOCATION in the main menu;
    • Simply enter your location with the date and opening time.

  • Why are there so many compulsory fields that I have to complete?+

    The more complete your account is, the greater the chance that your profile page will be found via this website or in the search engines. That is why we are asking you to put some effort into completing your profile page; it will not only give you an edge over your competitors, but it will also immediately give visitors to your profile a good impression of what they can expect from you or your food truck.

  • How does the Subscription section work when I am logged in?+

    Under 'Subscription', you can consult the information about your subscription and have the option to add more food trucks. The process for adding a food truck is the same as the registration of your account, only your contact details will be entered automatically. This allows you to manage several food trucks if you wish.

  • How does the section Availability work?+

    The optional section "Availability" allows you to indicated per day or part of a day whether you are available for a job. When a visitor to this website wants to book a food truck on a specific day or part of a day, only the available food trucks with exact matches in the search results will be displayed. You can manage your availability quickly and easily by providing a fixed weekly schedule and adding any exceptions to this schedule.

    Fixed weekly schedule
    For example, is your food truck never available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday mornings? Please indicate this in the "Fixed weekly schedule". These days and parts of days will always be marked as "not available".

    Exceptions to the fixed weekly schedule
    If your food truck is available on the Monday in two weeks' time, but not on the Wednesday, then please indicate this in the section "Exceptions to the fixed weekly schedule". This section allows you to set your availability per date. The exceptions that you have listed take precedence over the fixed weekly schedule.

You will then receive a list of results, ranked according to the percentage match to your search. You can view the profiles of the food trucks that have been found from the search results page.

  • How can use the search function?+

    The search function can be used by private individuals and companies who are looking for a food truck for their assignment.

  • I have found a suitable food truck. How can I contact the owner?+

    You will always contact the owner via the form on the food truck's profile page. Please provide a clear description of the assignment; the more specific the details, the more details the food truck owner can provide in his or her reply.

  • How can I post a request?+

    You can post a request on the Requests page by clicking on the link "Post a request". Please complete as many fields as possible, so that the food trucks can get a good impression of the assignment. Check the details thoroughly and click on the "Post a request" button. You will then receive an e-mail containing an activation link on the e-mail address that you have provided. Once you have clicked on the activation link, your message will be posted on the "Requests" page.

  • Do I need to pay to post a message?+

    No, posting messages is free of charge.

  • Who can reply to my request?+

    Only food trucks with an account on FoodtruckBooking.com can reply to your message.

  • Will my e-mail address be treated confidentially?+

    Yes. Your e-mail address will never be displayed; either on the website or to the food truck owners who reply to your message. Your e-mail address will only be communicated when you complete the contact form on a food truck's profile page.

  • Where will the replies to my message be displayed?+

    A user account will automatically be created for you as soon as you post a request. You will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link, so that you can confirm the request. If you click on this link and you do not have a user account yet, then you will be asked to enter a password. From then on, you can use your e-mail address and this password to manage all requests and bookings simply on FoodtruckBooking.com. Replies from food trucks will never be displayed on the website.

  • Can I edit my request (so that it returns to the top of the list)?+

    No, it is not possible to edit your request.

  • Can I close my request?+

    Yes, that is possible. The e-mail that you will receive after posting the request contains a link under the heading "Close message". Click on this link to switch off the option of posting replies.

  • Can I post as many requests as I wish?+

    The editors of FoodtruckBooking.com will monitor whether the requests are posted in a normal manner and according to the relevant standards and values. If FoodtruckBooking.com is of the opinion that the use of this option deviates from these standards, then FoodtruckBooking.com is entitled to delete the message and block the e-mail address that was used.
